Katsura Isobe MA, RSMT, RCST
My fascination with the body, movement and its expression has been originally cultivated in dance, where I have trained, studied and worked professionally for three decades. As I gained more insights, my curiosity kept growing beyond dance and expanded into physiological, emotional and spiritual aspects of us humans. This journey took me to study and practice in Pilates, Somatic Movement Practice and Craniosacral Therapy.
I was born and grew up in Tokyo, Japan. In 2000, I moved to London to further my study in dance. And the learning has shown its depth further and further, never reached to a completion. As a practitioner, my current interests are how to cultivate one’s felt sense awareness, and to clear and transform unhelpful emotions stemmed from past experiences.
I enjoy being in tune with the body through activities such as dance, yoga, Pilates, Aikido, swimming, running, walking, singing and meditation.
